Mount Dora Pathfinder and Adventure Club 2026 – 2027

The Seventh-day Adventist Pathfinders are a worldwide church-sponsored youth organization designed for children and teens aged 10 to 15. Similar to Scouting, the program focuses on spiritual growth, outdoor survival skills, community service, and leadership development, and is open to youth of all religious backgrounds.
All eligible youth are invited to join the Mount Dora Pathfinders Club. Registration details are provided on the flyer above. Club meetings begin August 8th and continue every other Saturday thereafter.

Our New Pastor – Dr. Cleber Machado (August 1, 2026)

Pastor Cleber Machado is the new pastor of Mount Dora SDA Church. He was born in Brazil and brings a rich, global perspective to his ministry. He holds degrees in Theology and Business Administration from the Adventist University of São Paulo. During the 2020 pandemic, Pastor Cleber completed his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary. Throughout his ministry, Pastor Cleber has faithfully served as a Bible worker in Brazil and the United States, as well as a missionary in Mozambique. His experience also includes roles as Assistant Pastor, Chaplain, Teacher, and District Pastor. Pastor Cleber is married to his wife, Anne Elise, and together they have two children, Sophia and Christopher. They are a joyful, close-knit family who value faith, service, and community. Known for his adventurous spirit, Pastor Cleber enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, basketball, fly fishing, surfing, traveling, and learning about different cultures. His passion for growth, leadership, and people continues to inspire our church family.
